Team Program
Since the inception of the Central Bucks School of Gymnastics in 1973, the Team Program has consistently progressed in a positive direction. Prior to the current use of the names Level V through Level X in the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Program, the levels were denoted by the names Class I, II and III C/O.
Central Bucks School of Gymnastics won numerous Class I, II and III C/O state titles throughout the years. In 1986, the Central Bucks School of Gymnastics won the Class I, II and Class III C/O state titles - an unprecedented accomplishment in Pennsylvania. Central Bucks School of Gymnastics captured additional Class I titles in 1988 and 1989. Class I was the highest competitive level in Pennsylvania.
Since the conversion of Class I, II, and III C/O competitive levels to Levels V through X, Central Bucks School of Gymnastics has continued to thrive. Countless gymnasts have placed in the top five at Pennsylvania championship competitions and the team has won several state titles at various levels.
As a result of the competitive team's success, individual Central Bucks School of Gymnastics gymnasts have enjoyed success at both the Regional and National levels. More than forty Level VIII gymnasts have reached the Regional level of competition. More than twenty-five Level VIIII and X gymnasts have reached Regional and National levels of competition, which is the highest level of Junior Olympic competition in the country. In addition to success at the Regional and National levels, Central Bucks School of Gymnastics is especially proud of its five Elite level gymnasts. Tanya Schuler, an Elite level gymnast, competed for a place on the United States Olympic Gymnastic Team.
Many Central Bucks School of Gymnastics gymnasts earn full or partial scholarships and compete at the collegiate level.
