Established in 1973 by Tom Ford, Central Bucks School of Gymnastics offers a wide range of fun, high-quality recreational and competitive opportunities for children and young adults, and has long been the home of one of Pennsylvania's best gymnastic teams.  The 10,000 square foot facility, located in Plumstead Township, features a 2,500 square foot “power floor,” Tumble Track trampoline, foam pit, uneven bars, balance beams, and two dance studios.

Recreational Gymnastics
The popular GymKids Gymnastic Program for boys and girls age two to six years old begins with the parent/tot class, which introduces children and parents to a variety of fun activities focused on socialization, basic motor skills, large muscle and fine motor development.  The GymKids Program progresses through five levels of gymnastic groupings that feature age-appropriate skill development focused on enhancing coordination, basic muscle strength, social development, and self-esteem.

The GymStars Gymnastic Program for girls in first grade and older provides an opportunity for children to continue working with gymnastic equipment, developing skills necessary for life-long physical fitness and self-confidence.

Competitive Gymnastics
Central Bucks School of Gymnastics has long been home to one of Pennsylvania's most successful competitive teams.  The consistent success of team attracts scholarship interest from major colleges and universities throughout the country.  Graduating team members often receive full or partial college scholarships.

The roots of the highly successful competitive teams lie in the challenging and enjoyable recreational classes offered at the school.

The Dance Studio
The Dance Studio at Central Central Bucks School of Gymnastics was established in 1982.  Under the direction of Tracey Burroughs, The Dance Studio offers classes for Jazz, Hip-Hop, Modern, Tap, Ballet, and Preschool classes, as well as performance groups and Dance Companies.  Dancers have performed at Carnegie Hall, Disney’s Magic Kingdom, and on several cruises.  Annually, The Dance Studio stages a dance concert, receiving critical acclaim for the high caliber of the dance performances.

Birthday Parties
The Central Bucks School of Gymnastics offers a variety of recreational activities.  Our facility is is a fun, exciting and stress-free place for children’s birthday parties.  Parties include games, parachute, trampoline play and use of a private room for cake, ice cream and presents.

Open Gym
Open Gym provides both members and non-members with a relaxed, supervised atmosphere in which participants may practice previously learned skills. Parents or another adult must stay with children under the age of ten years old at all times and are encouraged to accompany those tens years of age and older. The fee for Open Gym is $10.00 per child - parents are free!

Camps and Clinics
Central Bucks School of Gymnastics Recreational Summer Camp features fun-filled activities including gymnastics, water play, and arts and crafts. Information about Recreational Summer Camp will be available in April.
